College Life

Hello, hello.
I've been busy for the past few weeks, because of the new chapter in my life: college! Woop, woop. However, I am planning to post another 'top favorite' list of my favorite online comics and some sketches I have made. Not sure if I should show you my work I make at college, because it is not very exciting. There are many interesting new people I've met. Most of them are artists just like me: photogaphers, soon to be professional illustrators and graphic designers. Aww yeeea.
That's all from my side of the story. Bye-bye. :)

My contribution to a creative invite by Talenthouse
Wish me luck! Took me only two days. It was a lot of fun. The hair made me go crazy, though.

Preview WIP

So much color. Aaarrgggh.

Doctor Who Doodles

To some of you he may be just a mad man in a blue policebox. But to me he is the hero I want my children to be introduced to. Seriously, I believe that the Doctor is one of the best idols one can have in our century. Too many young people look up to povocative celebrities. The fact that this character has survived for over 50 years in the world of media and television proves how awesome Doctor Who is.

Random Sketches

Here are some random sketches I've made this year.

My Top Favorite TV Shows

In this post I will show you my favorite TV shows and comment them. I watch most of them on http://couchtuner.eu.com/

1) DOCTOR WHO

Awww yeeeeah, Doctor Who. Charming, witty and funny. It is insanely difficult to explain Doctor Who to someone who has never watched it. Simply because there is no logic in Doctor Who. Never apply logic to that show. I've seen many fans criticizing the show for not drawing a red line. There is even a youtube channel where a Doctor Who fan tries to explain parts of the show. But this is pointless.Of course Doctor Who doesn't always make sense, because this show is here for pure entertainment, not explaining scientific facts.

In short: The Doctor is a Time Lord. Time Lords are like aliens. Instead of dying they simply regenerate and change their face. He flies through time and space with his T.A.R.D.I.S., a blue policebox. He usually travels with companions. Aliens, action, adventures, tiny bit of romance. Recommended.

2) MR ROBOT

Excellent show. It's about an anti-social drug addict who works as a computer engineer during the day. But during the night he becomes a hacker. The best hacker in the world, so to say, who wants to save the world. Huge plot twists. Reminds me a little of Fight Club. I love the actor Rami Malek. Psychological thriller. Check it out.

3) BEING HUMAN

I LOVED this show! It's not your typical teenage-werewolf-vampire-soap story. There are no teens involved at all. It's a special show about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost being friends and trying to make their lives as normal as possible. To summarize it in adjectives, I would use the words sexy, romantic, bloody and pure entertainment. Finding out that the show was made on low budget made me appreciate and admire it even stronger.

4) MAN SEEKING WOMAN

Lovely and unique show, you need a certain sense of humor if you want to enjoy it. Also, Eric Andre plays a role in Man Seeking Woman, entertaining as hell. :D A bunch of weird and surreal things happen in this show but in the end it is just a story about a guy trying to meet a girl. Take a peak!

Here's the intro. It is probably one of my most favorite intros ever.

The Ring

I love that simple quote by Melody Pond from the Doctor Who show. ''Hello, sweetie.'' I loved the actress, she was so powerful and charming. The perfect woman for a timelord like the Doctor. I drew this at a park in Ljubljana after I had done some important things for college. Lalalala.

My Favorite Comics --> click on the titles (romance, sci-fi, erotic)

Want to escape reality? Well, in this post I will show you all of my favorite comics that will take you far away from the boring daily life.

1. GUNNERKRIGG COURT

As an artist what I find very special about this comic is observing the slow development of the artist's drawing skills and personal style. The further the story goes on the better the drawings are. If you love stories about the forest, magical creatures and romance, then this is the right choice for you! No spoilers. If you wish to know what it is about, you better start reading on.

2. FLIPSIDE

Are you into dark creatures, magicians, sword fighting and sexy, perverted things? Then you should definetely check out this brilliant comic. The covers for each chapter are made by different artists or friends of the actual comic artist who does the lineart and the story itsself. Once you start reading, you can't get away from it.

3. TRYING HUMAN
Alien love, crazy scientists, heartbreaking stories of the past. All in one. It's something new and special. I've never been interested in aliens that much but this comic is very addictive. <3

4. AVA'S DEMON

Beautifully made comic. It looks like as if you watched an animation, because of the slight differences in the movements of the characters while the background remains the same. It's very nicely colored. Try it out. Addiction guaranteed.

5. CHESTER 5000

Confused? Well, make sure to take a peek. It's a sexy and cute story told without a single word, only lovely drawings that include pornographic details.

5. CURVY

Yeah, typically Curvy. Includes sexy same-sex times and maaaagical adventures.

6. PARANATURAL

Here is a tiny spoiler for you. To say it shortly, it is a hilarious comic but also a wonderful story about people with paranatural abilities.

Three different versions of a drawing from today. I felt uncomfortable, so I needed to draw this straight out of my soul.

Boop.

Eyyyy. Here are some tiny bits from today.

Fishy Fishy

Sheriff Butt

Something quick for fun. Looks funny when cropped, I might use it for something someday.

Sex On The Beach

Eh, funny short story. It was late, I was bored, so I went to the kitchen hoping to find something alcoholic in the fridge. And yes, I found a bottle of Sex On The Beach! Actually, it is meant to be drunk with pineapple juice or something, but I added something different. It's way too stiff to drink it without mixing it with other stuff. Anyway, I felt tipsy and funny and got this brilliant idea to draw a pun for that sex on the beach thing. Sort of. As you can see. :D Sexy things are fun to draw.

Music that Inspires/Inspired Me

I find it difficult to draw without music. Music helps me to relax and focus on my drawing. Over the years my taste has changed. There were periods when certain styles of music had an enormous  impact on me and my art. Let me show you some of them:

My dear Marilyn Manson. One of the biggest inspirations and idols in my life. I used to adore him and the band, especially during puberty. Being a teenager, all I wanted to do was the opposite of what I was told by my parents. Marilyn Manson is provocative, rebellious and sexual. He was everything I wanted to be like.

Gorillaz. Excellent band, unique, cool, funny. No need to say more. :D

KoRn. I guess there is just a small shred of metalhead in me. I enjoyed KoRn's dark style a lot.

Fucking Trevor Something and their sexy sensual electronic music. These songs represent very well how I feel about romantic love and intimacy.

Robyn is, in my opinion, one of the best European musicians. :3

Radiohead.

Lady GaGa, ayy she ain't bad at all. I love her music videos! She posseses such an amazing feminine power and confidence. Loveable.

This song is SO TOUCHING. I am not a particularly big fan of Florence + The Machine. But, man, this song is amazing.

I can't remember any other inspiring musicians or songs so far. So that is all for now. Buh-bye.

Sexy Music

For your nights.

Florence + The Machine Poster FIXED

So the blue poster is finally the finalfinal version. I noticed some huge mistakes I made on the previous poster but was too lazy to fix it. But at last I decided to resubmit my work to the creative invite of Talenthouse for the Florence + The Machine U.S. Tour this October. I know that they won't choose my poster, because it's not very Florence-like. I focused on my personal taste, which is sort of psychedelic. Florence is rather dreamy, starry, nature like. Afterall it's important that I had fun and finally found some ambition to create something ''bigger''.
